1. Q:
    2. How do I enable DMZ on my router?
    1. A:
    2. Note: DMZ should only be used if you have a computer/device that cannot run Internet applications properly from behind the router. By enabling the DMZ (Demilitarized Zone) feature, you are allowing the router to forward all incoming traffic from the internet to the device specified, virtually disabling the routers "firewall protection". This may expose the device to a variety of security risks, so only use this option as a last resort.

Step 1: Open a web browser and enter http://dlinkrouter.local. or http://192.168.0.1 into the address bar.

Step 2: Enter your password and click Log In.

Step 3: Move the cursor to the Features tab and then click Firewall from the drop-down menu.

      Step 4: Enable DMZ

Step 5: From the DMZ IP Address field, enter the IP address of the computer or device you want to enable DMZ to. You can also select the device from the drop-down menu. Click Save.
