1. Q:
    2. How do I reset my DAP-1650 Wi-Fi Extender to factory default settings?
    1. A:
    2. Example: If you forget the password for you Wi-Fi Extender’s configuration interface, you can do a factory reset to return the settings to the factory defaults.

Note: Performing a factory reset will erase all current settings, and this action cannot be undone.

Step 1: With the unit on, use a paperclip to hold the reset button (located inside a hole on the bottom of the unit) down for 10 seconds. Release the button and the extender will go through its reboot process (indicated by the power LED changing color). After about 30 seconds, the power LED should be lit green to indicate that the DAP-1650 has been successfully reset. The default IP address is 192.168.0.1, or http://dlinkap.local.

Note: The factory default username is Admin, and the password field should be left blank.
