The One-Tap feature lets you quickly execute multiple device actions with one simple tap. If you would like to add an Automation to One-Tap, click Here to setup the Automation first.
Note: This example shows how to apply an automation to One-Tap. (Ex. An Automation rule was created to send notifications, when motion is detected) Once we applied this automation to the Away button. When you tap the Away icon from the Home screen it will turn on the automation to send you notifications when motion is detected.
Step 1: Launch the mydlink app and sign in to your account.
Step 2: Tap the 3 horizontal lines in the upper left corner.
Step 3: Tap One-Tap.
Step 4: Tap the one-tap settings you want to create. In this example Away is selected.
Step 5: Tap the edit icon (pencil) in the upper right corner.
Step 6: Select the Automation and/or action you would like to add to One-Tap, then tap
Step 7: Tap on the automation and/or action to enable it.
Note: In this example we enabled Automation 1 and disabled the privacy mode for Away status.
Step 8: Tap back on your phone to go back to the main screen. Tap One-Tap at the bottom and then tap the scene you configured to enable it.
Now that you enabled the One-Tap for when you are away, you will need to create a one tap for Home if you want to turn the Automation off when you are home.
Step 9: Repeat steps 2-4. At step 4, tap Home instead of Away.
Step 10: Select the Automation and/or action you would like to add to One-Tap, then tap
Step 11: Disable the Automation and enable Privacy mode.
Step 12: Tap back on your phone to go back to the main screen. Tap One-Tap at the bottom and then tap the scene you configured to enable it.
