    2. In order to configure your DSR router, you must log in to the Web Interface of your router - How do I log in to my router?

       

      Select your Configuration Interface:

       

      OLD GUI 

       

       

      NEW GUI

       

       

       

       

      Old GUI 

       

      Step 1: Click on the Advanced tab. On the left side click on Firewall Settings > Custom Services.

       

       

      Step 2: Click Add.

       

       

      Step 3: Configure your custom Service: 

       

       

      - Name - Enter a name for the service (i.e. NVR) 

      - Type - Select the Port type (TCP/UDP) 

      - Port Type - Select your desired port type 

      - Start Port - The 1st port you want to open/forward 

      - End Port - The last port you want to open/forward 

       

      Note: If only entering one port, enter the same port number in both the start and end port fields.

       

      Step 4: Click Save Settings. 

       

       

       

       

      New GUI 

       

      Step 1: Click on the Security tab. Under Firewall click Custom Services.

       

       

      Step 2: Click Add New Custom Service. 

       

       

      Step 3: Configure your custom Service: 

       

       

      - Name- Enter a name for the service (i.e. NVR) 

      - Type - Select the Port type (TCP/UDP) 

      - Port Type - Select your desired port type 

      - Source Start Port - Enter Port 1 

      - Source Finish Port - Enter Port 65535 

      - Destination Start Port - The 1st port you want to open/forward 

      - Destination Finish Port- The last port you want to open/forward 

       

      Note: If only entering one port, enter the same port number in both the start and end port fields 

       

      Step 4: Click Save.
